🌟 We use There is and There are to talk about things in a place.

1️⃣ THERE IS / THERE’S

✅ Use There is or There’s for ONE thing.

There is = There’s

Examples:

🕷️ There is a spider.

➡️ There’s a spider.

👻 There is a monster.

➡️ There’s a monster.

🏠 There is an old house.

➡️ There’s an old house.

📌 Remember:

There is + a/an + one thing

There’s a monster. 👻

2️⃣ THERE ARE

✅ Use There are for TWO OR MORE things.

Examples:

🐱🐱🐱🐱 There are four cats.

🦇🦇 There are two bats.

🪑🪑🪑 There are three chairs.

📌 Remember:

There are + number + plural noun

There are four cats. 🐱🐱🐱🐱
